OTAKON 2007 [Part 2]

Waking up was an adventure once again since I STILL didn’t feel good. Seriously, what the stinky crap was that?! It would have been some stinky crap if it crapped, let me tell you. … … :|

ALL THAT MATTERS IS WE GOT THERE!!!! And when we got there we did the same thing, went right to the Dealer’s Room to see if it was open yet. Of course it wasn’t, there was a big line of people waiting to get in again so we just laughed at them and kept on our merry little way.

Once again we started out by wandering and taking pictures of cosplayers. May not sound too exciting to you but it was super duper uber fun.
As we were wandering I stopped by where the people from my old forum were supposed to meet up. So far only 2 of them were there but I went up and said hi anyways. The one girl had an awesome accent! I wanted to steal it! H’anyway I just took a picture of them and went back to wandering.


I have no idea what happened to Brett, Steve, and Jill but the group at this point was me Grilli and Kevin. We all wandered to the top floor of the convention center to see if anyone was around to take pictures of. We were sad because the escalators on the side of the convention center we were on were turned off and we had to walk up the escalators. Once we finished walking across the top floor we saw that the escalator we were going to take back down was turned off too so there was no way down on that side. Kevin just stood there and stared at the blocked off escalator angrily for about a minute.

We walked back to the other side and along the way I saw the D Gray Man cosplayers from the first day that were too lazy to stand up but this time I got them to stand up! WOOHOO!

We went by where the people from my old forum were meeting up again and I saw 4 more of them, I didn’t really talk this time I just told them who I was, said hi, took pictures, and ran for my liiiiife.


As I wasn’t really running for my life I ran into Kendra and her brother. At first I was confused by this brother business and had no idea who the d00d was, but she introduced me and I felt less confused by this brother business! After a bit of the talkings with her we went back to wandering.

When we got back to the main room I saw allllll the way across the room that there was an awesome L cosplayer. Why was he awesome?! BECAUSE HE WAS ACTUALLY SITTING LIKE L! And he was sitting there chewing on his thumbnail! I rushed to the other side of the room before he could go anywhere and took a picture. Then I told him how awesome he was for actually being L-like.


I noticed the time and realized that the Artist’s Alley was open again so I dragged the kids over there because there was still someone I NEEDED to see. Once we got there I searched and searched and eventually I saw HIS art. The art of the amazing Tobias Kwan! I was soooo happy because I love Tobias Kwan’s art and I was going to meet him in person!!!! I went right to his table and decided which print I was going to buy~ After a bit I decided on a beautiful Bleach print. I asked the guy sitting at the table to sign it thinking he was Tobias. I never saw a picture of him so how should I have known. Anyway, the guy I asked to sign was just like “Ohhhh… let me get the artist to do that for you” and he called for Toby. I was like ;___; ~embarrassment~ Anyway when he came over to sign it I was amazed to see him in person. SO COOOOL! So he signed it and I got a picture of him and went off happily.


Now it was back to the Dealer’s Room again. I got some cool Bleach figure thingurrs to keep my Hitsugaya company. (I got Hollow Ichigo and Kira :O) after I bought those I ran into this Bleach cosplayer who was cosplaying as Grantz. For some reason she was surprised that I knew who she was cosplaying as. Silly lady.

Then we saw the creepy thing.

Creepy.

Then back to the hotel to drop stuff off again since Kevin, Jill, and I had prints and stuff to bring back so they wouldn’t die. For me it was a quick stop at the hotel because I didn’t feel like wasting time at the hotel while I could be Otakon-ing. Just as I was leaving the hotel I got a call from Nicolette because she was leaving soon and she wanted to hang out before it was time to leave so Grilli and I went back to the convention center to meet up with her.

While we were waiting for her there was this awesome guy who would ask other people to take pictures for him but he’d always get in the picture with the cosplayer he wanted a picture of. The only time I got a picture was for when he asked an Ichigo to cut off his head in the picture.

What a fun guy. Soon Nicolette showed up and the lady was hungry so we went to the food court.

I went to the deli that was there and got me some soup since that was the only food that didn’t make me sick. The 3 girls working there were awesome. Two of them were cute and one was a robot! Seriously, she had to have been a robot. When she talked her mouth moved at like 9823728792 miles an hour. And she counted money faster than anyone I’ve ever seen. Everything she did was uber fast and just… robot-like and fake. It was creepy. She took her job sooooooo seriously. You know why?! She was a ROBOT. I never got a picture or video of them but I wish I did. I wish I could have shown you guys a robot!!!

We ran into Brett, Kevin, Steve, and Jill because they came right to the food court. So now we had another big group. We all went out to the area that connected the sky bridges and ate out there. While we were eating Grilli took out his sign again and held it up to everyone who passed. We thought it was funny that one of the people who thought he was too cool for pokemon (NOBODY IS TOO COOL FOR POKEMON) was a chubby d00d wearing a schoolgirl outfit.

That’s creepy.

The girl that pointed the first year and ran into us in the hallway earlier ran up to us and shouted some pokemon names really loud. We were happy just because we knew who she was and she was helping to promote the sign by shouting out pokemon. She’s such a cool person!

Brett realized that it probably wasn’t good that he brought his tray outside of the food court, but he didn’t feel like walking it back so when somebody was walking by he gave him a dollar to bring it back to the food court. Lazy muffin.

After hanging out for a little bit more Ms. Nicolette had to leave us forever ;____; we said our goodbyes and cried our good cries and sent her off into the world. I’m still not sure if she made it back alive o____o … but I guess we’ll find out eventually won’t we. (Good luck being alive, you!)

Back at the convention center we ran into another cosplayer definitely worth mentioning. SEGATA SANSHIRO! How freaking amazing is that?!


After wandering and checking out the video game room again and wandering some more we ran into Lulu again. Of course I had to look like an idiot, so I ran over to her and said “LULU!!! I love you!!!” and took another picture of her.


Next we met Optimus Prime.

Kevin asked him where his trailer comes from when he transforms and he just pointed up. Optimus wouldn’t talk to us :[ . But that was cool. Next I was like “Soooo Optimus, what’s it like having windows for nipples?!” At first he just stood there staring at me then he shrugged. We all just lol’d and wandered off to do more wandering!!!! WANDERRRRR.

Nexxxxt we saw more cool Bleach cosplayers. This time it was Grimmjow, Aaroniero Arleri, Rukia, and Kensei. I was soooo happy because Grimmjow flipped me off just like on the cover of chapter 199 (I love the random things that make me happy). Also the Aaroniero cosplayer was the man because he actually knew how to say “Aaroniero Arleri” and he said it super fast! HE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE TO THIIINK! He was a true master. Hahaha


I heard some noise so I turned to see what the commotion was all about. There was a crowd of people circled around watching a fight! IT WAS A FIGHT AT OTAKON! And the two people fighting were… Kon cosplayers! They both had super soft costumes so no matter how hard they hit each other they couldn’t hurt each other. It was one of the funniest fights I’ve ever seen. I almost got a video but I was too late so I only got right after the fight ended. Sighhh~

A lot more of this day was spent wandering and taking pictures. Seriously, it’s a lot of fun. When we got upstairs again we met female Rock Lee for the first time. She and her female Roxas friend were… I dunno what I was gonna say there so I’ll just end that sentence with “cute”. Iunno.

Is that even worth mentioning? YES! She’s important to the overall Otakon 2007 story later!!!

What time was it now?! Time to meet up with Brett, KEV, and GREG in the dealer’s room! We met the Red vs. Blue guys and they were pretty funny and nifty to talk to for a little bittle.


LOOK! ITS COOL HAT SELLY GUY! He sold hats! And he was cool! YEAH!


We went back to the main room to hang around and AND AND!!!! I saw LULUUUU again (hahaha) Of course I had to run over to her and tell her that I love her. Then I did something new! I asked her if I could have a picture with her. And I got one!

Maybe I should have talked to her like a real person rather than a crazy person. I mean she was really cute and stuff. Ah well. Hahaha.

Now it was time to take a break in the awesome hallway. We all sat there for a bit until Chris (our pointing friend) came along. That’s when we decided it would be the perfect time! We all stood up and started pointing at the ground. At first these two girls that were sitting near us decided to come over and try to see what we were doing but we didn’t explain anything to them. Instead we just kept pointing and eventually they joined us. Slowly people kept joining in, not even knowing why they were pointing but they could just tell how awesome it was. Soon we started pointing at the ceiling and everyone pointed with us.

It was a regular, awesome, amazing pointing party! Unfortunately when the group started getting bigger some grumpy woman working there broke the group up saying we were blocking people’s paths even though we weren’t really blocking anyone.

Now as everyone knows, if you want to do something and you’re not allowed, move somewhere else and do it there! So Grilli, Brett, Kevin, Greg, and I all went to find somewhere else to point.

While we were walking we ran into 1000 years of pain girl. Once I saw her I was like “THANKS FOR GIVING MY BROTHER 1000 YEARS OF PAIN!” And she laughed and talked to us for a little bit. What a cool person :P


When we were upstairs we found an area that would be perfect for pointing. It was a nice open area without many people walking through it so we wouldn’t be able to get yelled at. So we threw some trash on the ground and stood in a circle around it and just pointed at it. It took a bit for it to catch on this time but after a little some guy with a couple girls stopped and asked what was going on. But as usual we didn’t say anything. And also as usual for some reason they thought it was amazing and decided to join in. Soon we threw more trash in the pile and more random people started joining in and more people started throwing stuff into the pile. It was amazing how fast the circle started growing after that, this was the best one of our pointing circles had ever done!!!!
Some of the things being put into the center were funny. People were taking off their coats and putting them in the pile, putting their cameras in the pile, and putting just about anything they had on them in the pile. Some guy even came over and sat in the middle of the pile and started doing a rubik’s cube. He was one of those people that’s really good with them too because he was going amazingly fast. He went so fast that one of the blocks shot off and he had to put it back on.
Every so often somebody would come along and try to pick up something from the middle of the circle to see what we'd do, but I always walked over and raised my hand to make it look like I'd hit them. One time somebody did pick up a piece of trash so I smacked it out of his hand and he was like "Hahaha what the crap?"
At this point one of the security guys walked over and got on his walkie talkie to call over another security guy. We were a bit scared because we thought they were coming to throw us out or tell us we couldn’t do this anymore. Soon the next security guy came and stood next to the first one. The first one called him over just to show off the guy with the rubick’s cube. It was amazing. Once he finished his rubicks’s cube the 2 security guards looked really happy and they were clapping for him. They even joined in with the pointing for a little. It was hilarious.
But all good things have to explode so after that lasted for a bit the circle eventually broke up and we all went off to enjoy our days s’more.




Something fun to do was go up to every Tousen (from Bleach) and Toph (from Avatar) cosplayer and hold up your fingers and ask “HOW MANY FINGERS AM I HOLDING UP?!” If you don’t know why that’s kinda funny it’s because those characters are BLIND. Lolzorz
So I went up to this one Tousen and held up 4 fingers and asked. He said “.. I don’t know? 5?” So I was happy because he remembered he was blind unlike some of the other cosplayers. Now to make it even better Brett ran out of nowhere and shook his butt at him and said “HOW MANY BUTTS DO I HAVE?!?!!?!”
The Tousen’s face was the greatest thing I have ever seen. He looked like he wanted to crack up but he was too afraid to do anything so he just ran.
We just sat there and died laughing for a couple minutes.


After all that excitement it was time to take a break, we went outside and sat on the side of the building for a few minutes.



Not much more to really say at this point, it ended up being just another wander and take pictures time.

In the awesome hallway there were these 2 girls that would hold their hands out for handshakes and if you shook their hands they’d tell you that they peed on their hands :O

Sitting on a couch were a bunch of guys dressed as Pokemon and the 2 cute girls that come every year. Kevin and I ran up and took a picture of each Pokemon person just because they were awesome and then we got pictures of the cute girls.. just because they’re awesome.
Close to them there was a guy working there who had to stand by one of the doors. I walked over and started talking to him and he was trying to stay really serious so I kept talking to him and saying stupid stuff until he couldn’t stay serious anymore and started laughing. He was quite the cool guy.

I had to make at least one more stop at the Artist’s Alley so I stopped by Sleepar’s table. I wasn’t sure whether or not I wanted to buy another print because I dooooo like his work. There was some cute girl running his table and selling prints for him while he was doing whatever he was doing back there. She convinced me to get a print so I got him to sign it and I got a picture of him too. And afterwards I got a picture of the girl too. Then I sarcastically told her she was evil for forcing me to buy a print and she lol’d.


Brett, Steve, and Jill all were already back at the hotel being lazy for some reason. LAZY FACES. So we went back to the hotel really quickly so I could drop off yet another print and we took a small break there. But we didn’t want to be lazy too so Kevin, Grilli, and I left pretty quickly.

On the way to the hotel and back there was this group of guys standing out the convention center and they were all protesting or something. Either that or they were just on drugs. I have no idea. But the one guy was really creepy. He was handing out shirts that said “Stop B****ing. Start a revolution” He tried to get Grilli to buy the shirt and Grilli just kinda backed off from that man’s creepy self. They were out there almost alllll day. I wonder if they ever sold a shirt?


We wanted to go back to the Dealer’s Room before it closed but it closed a lot earlier than we thought it was going to. There was also a sign up in front of the stairs that go to the dealers room about… ah I’ll just show you the picture.


On our way back we ran into Lulu (nooo not that Lulu) and Tidus cosplayers. They were coming out of the elevator and the Tidus was limping. I wanted to get a picture of them but first I asked if Tidus was okay. He said “Yeah man, I’m just pretending I hurt my leg. We were too lazy to take the stairs and you’re only allowed on the elevator if you’re handicapped or hurt so this was our way around that” Then we saw that he could walk normally and he really wasn’t hurt. Haha


On our way down the stairs I saw a Zoro and I was talking to him as we were walking down. I said I was gonna joke around and call him “Zolo” when I saw him but I knew that’d be too cruel. He was like “YEAH! You wouldn’t believe how many people called me Zolo today. I don’t know if they were joking or not but it made me sick. Thanks a lot for knowing the name isn’t Zolo. It’s a relief to hear that every once in a while”


We went to the game room for a while and met these people from “THE BLUE ARMY!!!” they were holding up a sign that said Blue Army and everywhere they went they were shouting “BLUE ARMY!!!!” And every time they’d shout that I’d shout “PINK ARMYYYYY!!!!!” The leader of the Blue Army (I think) would keep glaring at me every time I would shout that and eventually he walked up to me and said “YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE BLUE ARMY?!” so I responded “Of course I do, the pink army is MUCH BETTER” He handed Kevin the sign up form for the Blue Army so I took it and drew Trogdor burninating them and wrote “PINK ARMY PWNS J00!!!!” Hah. I showed them who’s boss.

The game room had some people who were crazy good at DDR. I know that’s to be expected at a convention like this but still… THEY WERE CRAZY GOOD.

Now it was time to be lazy and let the legs take a bitty bitty break.
We sat at the indoor waterfall fountain thingy for a while. Grilli and Kevin had out their DS’s and they were doing pictochat with people that were around. While we were sitting there someone on pictochat was like “I’m a girl looking for a girl. I’m sitting by the fountain in the big room.” Me and Kevin looked at eachother like “What the crap?” Then we turned and on the other side of the fountain (Sorry if this sounds rude but its true) there was this HUUUUUUUUGE nasty girl sitting there with a DS and she was looking around probably hoping she reeled in some fishies.
After sitting for a bit I hopped up and started walking around the room taking pictures of people. I ran into this awesome Mello cosplayer. After I took her picture I asked if I could have some of her chocolate. I wasn’t even serious, I didn’t think she’d actually give me any, but she was like “OHHH!!! I have some extra! I’m so glad you asked! Here you can have it”. And that was the day that Mello gave me chocolate ;_; < happy tears. There isn’t one Death Note fan that wouldn’t like that!


On the other side of the fountain I saw an old friend for like the 3rd time I think. 1000 years of pain girl! I was walking over to her and she saw me so she was like “HEYYY!!! I GAVE YOUR BROTHER 1000 YEARS OF PAIN!” And we both started laughing then I talked to her for a little bit again and left her to be totally awesome.


Our little group left to meet up with Greg and his uber group because they were going to get food. So we were following them and Grilli took out the sign again. Once again names of Pokemon filled the air like cupcakes in a flying cupcake factory. And as I was walking I hear this voice passing us and it says “BLASTOISE!!!!”
I stop.
My breath has been taken away. I heard a girl shout Blastoise. I turned and I saw that it was female Rock Lee. I wasted no time and I proposed to her on the spot. She agreed to marry me!


Once we got to the food court Kevin disappeared. He like… ran off on his own and Grilli and I were standing there like “WHAT THE CRAAAAAAAP” So after waiting for a couple minutes and realizing he wasn’t coming back I called him and he said he was going to the masquerade. @_@ Who does that?!
Brett ended up calling to see if we wanted to eat with them but they were going off to the Hard Rock Café and since Grilli and I weren’t that hungry and didn’t feel like walking over there we just stayed. When we got back to the skybridge we saw Greg and his CREW again. Since they were just sitting and eating we sat with them for a bit and Grilli held up his sign once again.

I saw 2 girls that were cosplaying as Rei and Asuka earlier but they were Riku and Namine now. Since they already stopped to read the sign I got pictures of them then I asked the Riku if she was Asuka earlier but she told me she was Rei and the other one was Asuka. Then I stood there looking at them and realized theyre twins @_@
I couldn’t believe I never noticed that before
Or I could always be wrong and theyre just sisters that look an awful lot alike.. but in my book that = twins haha

Right near where we were sitting there were some businessmen standing outside their hotel drinking. One guy was extremely drunk and he kept shouting stupid stuff at people who were passing. I then decided it would be awesome to ask him what his favorite pokemon is… but I didn’t want to go alone because he was creepy. Annalisa ended up coming with me and we went over to him. She was like “THE SUITS! HEY YOU GUYS! YOU IN THE SUITS!!!!” The drunk guy turned and she shouted “YEAH YOU! What’s your favorite pokemon?!” One of the not so drunk guys was like “I’m gonna have to go with Pikachu” then the drunk guy cut in like “NO! It’s PEARL! Pearl is my favorite! He’s like so cool! HE’S MY FAVORITE POKEMON!” and he kept going on and on about how “Pearl” is his favorite pokemon. One of the actual sober guys came over to Annalisa and I and was asking us what the con was all about and he was like “Hey believe it or not I actually like some anime too” And I had to look at him funny because he looked all professional in his suit and tie carrying his briefcase and all. Then he went on to say “Yeah I really like Vampire Hunter D. That was my favorite, I just wish they’d made another” So I told him that they made Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and he seemed pretty happy. Then we let him go back to his drinking buddies. What fun. -_o

Since it had been a while since I called Kevin I called him again and he said he’d meet us at the entrance to the convention center so we went there and waited for him. Yep, the whole huge group went back to the convention center. We met up with Kevin and the huge group was walking towards the Otakon rave and even though Grilli and I didn’t plan on going in we followed them anyway. It was funny to watch Dane’s girlfriend and Annalisa because they took pictures of every hot girl they saw for the guys. How awesome is that? Girls that take pictures of girls to make guys happy. Amazing.

Once we got up to the rave Grilli, Greg, and I just stood there. No way we were going into that crazy mess. Kevin walked in for a few minutes. We just waited a bit. When Kevin came out I walked away with him and I didn’t realize we left Grilli behind. We walked for like 3 minutes before I was like “Grilli is being quiet” then I was like “AAAA WE LOST GRILLI!!!!” So I called him and we waited for him to catch up with us.

Once Grilli got back we all went to the main room where Grilli saw a friend of his. She was cosplaying as Tifa last year and Grilli talked to her online so this year when he saw her as Rikku he ran over to her and started talking to her. Aww look at them~


After a bit of wandering we all sat in the awesome hallway. It was getting late and we were getting tired but we didn’t want to leave yet so we just took a break there. Some guy walking by had a box of donuts so we tried to get some from him. When he opened the box all we got was..


Kevin started shouting at people telling them not to step in the wet spot on the ground. There wasn’t really a wet spot but it was funny watching him stop people and getting them to walk around the wet spot.

Soon two cosplayers started walking by that I had to be stupid with. They were Speed Racer and Racer X. I rushed up to them because they were talking about a race they had earlier and I was like “I’ll race you two!!!!” It took them a little but they agreed to have a race with me. Just to the end of the hall but still a race. While running I passed Speed Racer but Racer X was still in front of me. I was about to catch him but the people working there were like “WALK!!! YOU’LL BREAK SOMEBODIES BONES AND PUT THEM IN THE HOSPITAL AND WE’LL ALL GET STDs AND I’LL BE FIRED AND HITLER WILL REVIVE AND I’M ALWAYS IN A BAD MOOD” also known as “WALKKKK!!!” So I speed walked to the end of the race but I still only got 2nd place. At least I can say I beat Speed Racer in a race now.


When we were sitting I saw someone familiar in the distance! It was female Rock Lee! When she got closer I was like “HEY!!! FIANCE!!! Do you want to get married now?!” She looked at me and thought for a second then she was like “Sure!” So I stood up and got a picture with her and I guess that means we’re married now! Niiiiice.


(I think we lost Greg somewhere around here but I forget.. maybe it was earlier O__o)

Eventually we decided we had been sitting long enough and went back to wandering. We saw this group of 3 girls and the one looked sad so I was like “HEY SAD GIRL! CHEER UP!” She looked surprised since I kinda popped out of nowhere but then she smiled. Her 2 friends were like “HEYYYY!” But I was like “YOU TWO BE QUIET!” How was I supposed to be nice to them? They were wearing yaoi shirts. So I told them yaoi is horrible and I told sad girl she was awesome because she wasn’t wearing a yaoi shirt and she laughed and we left.

We saw Quail Man!


Once we got upstairs and down one of the halls there was a group of people with their arms out.

It took us a little bit but we realized they had their arms out for hugs! It was a small, 3 person hug line! So what did we do? Me, Grilli, and Kevin all joined the hug line! It was the only sane thing to do! So we stood their with our arms out for hugs (since you’re not allowed to ask anymore apparently) and a bunch of people kept coming up for hugs. Where would Otakon be without the hugging? I felt good because every time I’d see a girl I tried to get her attention and make her go to the line and I even got a couple cute girls to run straight to me and then go through the line.

Eventually after standing for a while we saw the awesome Kakashi and Fe-Kakashi cosplayers. I got really excited because they were walking in our direction and BELIEVE IT OR NOT they only hugged me, Grilli, and Kevin! We stood there and talked to them for a little about how awesome they are and we tried to get them to take off their masks. I was like “Come on guys we NEED to see your faces. I mean I’m sure you’ve got to be the most beautiful girl on Earth and I’m sure you’re a very handsome man yourself” Fe-Kakashi giggled and declined and Kakashi said “Noooo I’m sorry you have to understand WE CANT DO THAT.” So we just got a bunch of pictures of them and left. I mean, after Hugging Fe-Kakashi you can’t do much better so we figured that would be a good time to leave off the hugging line.

And it was even a good way to end the night because that’s when we decided we’d go back to the hotel.

On the way out I took a lot of random pictures of people. I saw one grumpy looking girl sitting against a wall and I was like “Why do you look so mad?!” And she just glared at me so I kept talking “Hm… you must be GRUMPY!!! … You hate me don’t you?” then she nodded so I was like “COOL! Let me take a picture of you, girl who hates me” And I got this amazing picture. What a fun person~


When we got back to the hotel we just lazied around until Brett and children got back too. Once they got back we watched some more Tim and Eric since Kevin asked to. Once we started watching Kevin fell asleep. (See the picture of him in the beginning of the entry)

Sunday is always depressing since it’s the last day. Also there are a lot less people around and it didn’t help that there was a concert going on that made even more people disappear.
But it was okay because I actually didn’t wake up feeling like butt. I was ready to go!

First we packed everything up and brought it all out to the cars and then we went off to our last day of Otakon.
The first person I recognized was 1000yearsofpaingirl for the last time. There was no exchanging of “HEYYY YOU GAVE MY BROTHER 1000 YEARS OF PAIN” or “HEYYY I GAVE YOUR BROTHER 1000 YEARS OF PAIN” Just a normal “Heyyyy! What’s up!” and whatnot. It’s always fun to have people that recognize you at Otakon. It makes it a lot cooler when you come back the next year and you already know some people. Sure I never found out her real name or some other people’s names but HEY its still nifty.

I ran into this pretty cool guy that liked my Bear Holding a Shark shirt. He ran over to me and I think he was trying to do a Strongbad voice. He was like “HEY HOLY CRAAAAP That shirt is really coooooool. Oh wowwwww” and some other random stuff @_@ … so I just took a picture of him and walked away.


We saw where everyone had disappeared to. THIS WAS THE LINE FOR THE CONCERT.


Brett and Grilli stopped in some showing room where they were showing crappy anime but Kevin and I didn’t feel like sitting around on our last day so we pulled a wander-bug. That’s the thing where you wander.
So us kids were just hanging around and eating chicken nuggs and we saw some fun things like a whole group of Zoros from One Piece and some other sword users all having a big fight.

Also, a huge group of Death Note cosplayers that met up on the top floor. That was pretty nifty to just see a crap load of Misas everywhere.

When we met up with Brett and Grilli again we saw these cool amazing awesome cosplayers. These two girls that were dressed as Coach Z and The Cheat from Homestar Runner. The Coach Z girl even spoke like him. She was one of my 1000000 heroes!


We even saw a girl dressed as a box of Pocky. She barely had any foot room in her costume so she looked like she could fall over at any second. I told her I’d pay her if she would let me push her down but she was being EVIL and wouldn’t let me >:[!


We saw the Green Ranger and Grilli and I both got pictures with him. While I was getting my picture I whispered into his ear “I never actually watched Power Rangers” He gasped but then started laughing.


Thennn we saw Cameron for the last time. Poor kid lost his cellphone so he wasn’t too excited but he said he was still having an awesome time anyway. Kid’s a champ!


Next we met this awesome guy that collected Kon plushies. He had like.. every one I have ever seen and more. I think he said he was going back to the Dealer’s Room to see if he could find more. That’s just amazing.


We made one last stop at the Dealer’s Room. I bought some more imported Naruto manga, wandered in there, and took pictures of cosplayers. But that was a short visit because Steve called us saying he was going out to eat so Grilli and I went to meet the kids for food.
Along the way I saw an Ino cosplayer and asked for her picture. Her dad looked a little annoyed but I was just like “Mehhhh” Then she asked me for a hug so I was like “Suuuuuure” and her dad just kept looking at me annoyed-ish. So I gave him another “Mehhhhh” face. Whatever that means.

We went back to the California Tortilla place and got food there. I wanted to eat pretty quick so I could make it back to Otakon with time left to spaaaare but I found out that it was all a set up. IT WAS A SHAM! We were leaving right after we finished eating!

So we were a bit disappointed because we didn’t know they were already planning to go back. We made a sad slow walk past the convention center one last time and said goodbye for now… SEEYA NEXT YEAR OTAKONNNNN!!!!
